Game Deposit Policy

Note:  Not all game purchases require a deposit.  Pinball Traders will only require a deposit if (A) the game factory requires a deposit or (B) the game is a special order for the customer that has a long delivery time.   

Deposits will not be required for in games that are in stock.  Pinball Traders does not hold onto your deposit,  We forward the deposit to the factory and at that point the game is officially ordered and most factories will not return the deposit.  Factories use deposits to determine commitment levels and order the correct amount of parts and materials to produce your game.   

Some game titles have factory imposed deposit restrictions.   When a game has special deposit rules, Pinball Traders will post the ordering guidelines on the machine ordering page. 

For most games, deposits are generally not refundable once a game is ordered.  However deposits can be transferred to another buyer by paying a $100 transfer fee. The customer is responsible for finding another buyer.   

Pinball Traders maintains backup interest lists on any game we sell.   If we have a backup buyer we can transfer your spot to the new buyer.   In this case we handle all the arrangements and a $200 fee will apply. 

Pinball Traders will invoice the customer taking over the order spot.   Once good funds are received from the new customer a refund will be issued. 

Refunds will be issued within 10 business days to the method of payment on file.   In the rare case a refund cannot be issued to the original payment method a company check will be issued to the customer.

You can in some cases transfer your deposit to another NEW game that Pinball Traders has for sale.
